Two March 2016 Half Marathons in North Carolina Announced

A couple new dates posted for half marathons in North Carolina this week and updated on the North Carolina Half Marathons page.  The Asheville Half Marathon at Biltmore Estate will be held on a separate day from the full marathon in 2016.  The Asheville Half Marathon will take place Saturday March 12, 2016.  Additionally, the Tobacco Road Half Marathon 2016 date has been posted, and will be held March 13, 2016 in Cary, North Carolina.

2016 February Half Marathons Updated

Finished a sweep of the 2016 February half marathons page today and updated all half marathons in February that race organizers have announced and posted.  The Woodlands half marathon in Texas changed to a March date for 2016.

January 2016 Half Marathons Updated

Just did a January 2016 sweep of all the half marathons, and the January Half Marathons page is up to date relevant to the races that have their 2016 January dates announced and posted.  Sedona half marathon in Arizona moved to a February 2016 date.

Washington State Half Marathon Dates Not looking Very Organized and Up to Date

While of course there are a good number of half marathons that post their half marathon dates well in advanced in the state of Washington, the state of Washington appears to be one of the worst for posting their half marathon race dates well in advanced.  At a glance today, when updating Washington Half Marathons page, there are still LOTS of half marathons with no 2015 dates set yet, already reaching the end of March 2015.  Many races still have only 2014 information up on their websites.  This makes it very challenging for runners, especially those that like to travel.

However, Kudos to the ONE awesome race organizer that already has their 2016 Washington half marathon updated!!!  Birch Bay Half Marathon has their February 2016 date posted!

2016 Florida Half Marathons Updated

Lots of updates at the Florida Half Marathons page today.  The Florida race directors (most) are really on top of it again this year!  Tons of 2016 half marathon dates updated for January, February and March 2016 events!
